What are we going to do?
We plan to build a community centre within Chapelford Village. We are currently in discussion about a suitable piece of land.
How much money will we need?
Funds raised do far:
- Amount Raised: £11,000
- Target: £500,000
- Amount remaining to hit Target: £489,000
We estimate that to build the centre we will need to raise in the region of £500,000.
We received a donation of £1,000 from St James Congregation when we started and a £5,000 grant from WBC West Neighbourhood Board.
We have since then been organising various events to achieve the dual objective of bringing community together and raise funds.
We hope that the whole community will come together to raise funds to build the centre. If we can demonstrate that the community are fully engaged then we stand a much better chance of securing large capital grants from grant giving organisations.
Make a donation now through the Just Giving Website, any amount helps!
How can I get involved?
If you would like to get involved, put on a fund raising event, contribute skills, then please drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org or feel free to contact one of the directors.
We also need to develop a list of individuals/organisations that would wish to hire the centre once built, in order that we can demonstrate the need, and put together an income stream for future sustainability.
Again if this would apply to you then please get in touch.
